You may need a record of the post if you decide to take further action. We recommend that you take a screenshot of the post for reporting purposes. We want to help you find support and take action if you need to, by following the steps below:
Report the post:
You can anonymously report photos that go against MemeTribes Community Guidelines. If someone is threatening to share things that you want to keep private (e.g. messages, photos or videos), asking you to send money or asking you to do something else you're uncomfortable with, please report their profile to us using the built-in reporting options. If you don't have a MemeTribes account, you can email us at [email protected]. After reporting a post, specially trained representatives from our Community Operations team will then review the image and remove it if it goes against our Community Guidelines.
Unfollow or block the person who posted it
Bear in mind that these options may keep you from seeing the post, but the person who posted it and other people on MemeTribes may still be able to see the post unless it's removed.

If you're a minor, consider talking to a school counsellor or administrator you trust.

If your friend is in immediate danger, call local emergency services immediately. Don't wait.
It can be very hard to know what to say to someone who's told you that they're considering suicide, or who seems to be thinking about it but may not have told you directly.
Encouraging your friend to talk about what they're going through can be one of the most helpful things you can do for them. Being a good listener and giving them the space they need to talk is important, as is following up with them regularly. You can also help by getting them to someone else they can trust, such as a healthcare professional or another friend.
This list is informed by the work that Forefront: Innovations in suicide prevention has done on suicide prevention:
Look for warning signs:
Your friend might say things such as "I want to disappear" or "I want to end this". They may indicate that they're feeling hopeless and helpless, or suggest that they're a burden to others. They may have lost interest in the things that they usually do, or they may be acting impulsively.
Empathise and listen:
Give them your full attention. Try not to offer solutions or to convince them that things will get better; what they need most at this point is to feel heard. Help them to feel understood and don't judge them. Try asking open-ended questions that will get them talking about how they're feeling, such as "I know you're going through a lot at the moment. Can we talk? I'd like to hear how you're feeling."
Ask about suicide:
By asking clearly and directly, "Are you thinking about suicide?" you show that you care and that you've heard how much distress they're in. You aren't increasing the risk of someone killing themselves by asking directly. If they say, "Yes, I'm thinking about suicide", don't panic. Tell them how much courage it took them to tell you that, and continue the conversation. Encouraging them to talk about what they're going through can reduce their feelings of isolation.
Remove the danger:
If they say that they're thinking about suicide, ask them if they have a plan. If they say yes, ask whether they have access to means such as drugs, a weapon or rope. It's important to do your best to get these items away from them, or to have other friends or law enforcement step in to help.
Help them get to the next level of care. Talking to your friend or family member is important, and you also might want to connect them with a counsellor, healthcare professional or a helpline.
You may have seen a post on MemeTribes that worries you. If so, you can let us know about it by reporting the post and we may send some resources that we've developed with suicide prevention experts to the person. They won't know that you reported their post. In some cases, we may contact emergency services if they seem to be in immediate danger.
Caring for someone who is considering suicide can be very hard. Make sure that you take care of yourself while you're going through this, and speak to friends or healthcare professionals who can support you.
If someone is trying to blackmail you (threatening to share private information about you if you don't send them money or something else you're uncomfortable with), please report it.
You should also contact your local law enforcement. If you don't want someone to see your posts or contact you on MemeTribes, bear in mind that you can always block that person.

A link to an online news article
A link to a court document

According to ConnectSafely.org, if someone is threatening to share things that you intended to be private and asking you to send them money or anything else, you have options:
Contact local law enforcement and report this to them.
Report this person to us
Block this person
Depending on your privacy settings, people on MemeTribes can see a list of your followers and who you follow. Once you've blocked someone, they'll no longer have access to your profile.
The safest thing you can do is never share something that you wouldn't want other people seeing, even if you feel like you trust the person asking you to share.
If you're under 18, we recommend talking with a parent or other adult you trust to help you think through what to do. We offer some tips for parents on safety and security on MemeTribes. Here are other resources for you to consider:
Contact a crisis hotline or chat service. These can be found all over the US and in many other countries. This is a good option if you want to remain anonymous while deciding what to do. Crisis lines can also often refer you to a victim advocate or other legal adviser near you. In the US, you can search for one by postal code at www.suicidepreventionlifeline.org/our-network/ or visit www.crisischat.org/.
Speak to a victim advocate or social worker in your town or city. In the US, there are victim advocates in county offices, police stations, domestic violence prevention centres, rape crisis centres, sheriff's offices and offices of state attorneys general. Victim advocates can help you gather evidence, work out how to keep you safe and get a civil protection or anti-stalking order against the person threatening you. If you're in the US, call the National Organization for Victim Assistance at 1-800-TRY-NOVA/800-879-6682 or go to www.trynova.org.
Contact a legal aid society or organisation near you for free advice.
Ask a lawyer or other counsellor for advice.
Talk to a school counsellor or administrator.

There are also lots of great online resources with more information for parents on bullying:
It's important to note that if your teen is a victim of abusive behaviour on our service, we're unable to provide non-public information (such as the offending person's email address) without a search warrant or subpoena from law enforcement. If there's an emergency, we suggest contacting your local police department.
MemeTribes requires everyone to be at least 13 years old before they can create an account (in some jurisdictions, this age limit may be higher). Accounts that represent someone under the age of 13 must clearly state in the account's bio that the account is managed by a parent or manager. If your child is younger than 13 and has an account that isn't managed by you or a manager, you can show them how to delete their account.
If you'd like to report an account belonging to someone under 13, or if you believe someone is impersonating your child who's under 13, report it in the app or email us via [email protected]. We will delete the account if we can't verify that the account is managed by someone over 13 years old.
We ask for and use age-related information from people using our platform for age verification and other purposes, including to help ensure compliance with our Terms and Conditions. These initiatives are part of our efforts to promote safety, security and integrity.
When you delete your account, your Profile, photos, videos, comments, likes and followers will be permanently removed. If you'd just like to take a break, you can temporarily deactivate your account instead by emailing as at [email protected]
